Nate Seitelbach was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York in a Conservative Jewish home. He had his bar mitzvah at the age of 13 and shortly thereafter, denied his religion and left his faith. He spent 40 years wandering his own desert before finding the Lord in 1988, when, after years and years of substance abuse, did he find himself at the end of his road. At that time , G-d extended His grace over Nate and Nate was saved. He found renewal and re-birth through our Lord Jesus Christ. He was baptized and, after three years in a Nazarene church, discovered that Jesus was Jewish and was drawing him back to his Jewish heritage. At that time, Nate found out about Jews for Jesus, a missionary organization, and then he was able to find other Jewish people who love Jesus.
He now serves full-time as Rebbe (Teacher) and also leader of Congregation Adat Hatikvat Tzion (The Hope of Zion Congregation) in Omaha, Nebraska where Jews and Gentiles together can worship their Messiah, Yeshua, in the way they did in the first century A.D. Nate also has his own ministry, Shalom Aleychem (Peace Be Unto You) in which he works real hard to break down the wall of partition that has been built over the years that separates the Jewish people and the Gentiles. He currently teaches a twelve week course on Judaism to any Church or group that will have him. He provides educational material to Christians and evangelizes Jewish people. Nate also serves on the Board of Directors of Yeshua Shalom, another Messianic Ministry. He believes that all those who are saved have been grafted into the olive tree that is Israel and that all will share an equal part in the world to come.
Nate is married to Dalma and they have three lovely daughters. He retired from the US Air Force in 1984
